A Monterey Jack style cheese that is very mild and has a smooth and creamy texture, with flavor similar to a mild brick cheese. Named after its birthplace – Apple River Dairy, in Apple River, IL. Contrary to its name, apple jack does not in fact taste like apples, rather it compliments and brings out the full fruity flavor of the apple. Apple jack cheese is great for snacking and on pizzas!
