Shipping Policy
You can trust that your order will be quickly processed and safely delivered. We can ship products anywhere in the Continental United States using UPS.

We offer UPS Overnight, 2 Day, and Ground Shipping. Although we ship all perishable products packed with cold packs, we always recommend 2 day or Overnight shipping to ensure your product arrives in good condition. Please note that you are responsible to pick the shipping speed with UPS according to the weather temperatures in your area or the area where the gift will be delivered! Be aware that we are not responsible for late deliveries and any resulting spoiled product.

If you choose ground shipping, please be aware that we assume no responsible for delayed or late deliveries or any resulting spoiled product.

Because we are shipping perishables, we use Monday and Tuesday as our primary shipping days.

If you absolutely need your order before the weekend or a specific date, we encourage you to call us at 608-328-3355 to discuss shipping options.

In warmer seasons we package your cheese in an insulated box with cold packs sufficient to ensure that your cheese arrives in the right environment.

The delivery time may vary depending on your specific location. While rare, inclement weather and other factors beyond the control of UPS or the Alp & Dell Cheese Store may impact delivery times.

Return Policy
We do our best to ensure that you receive our products in excellent condition. If, for some reason you are dissatisfied with what you received, please contact us as soon as possible so that we may address the problem. If the products of concern are perishable, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving the product so that we may take whatever action is necessary to begin the replacement process. If your product is damaged upon receipt, we may request detailed information regarding the type of damage and a photograph of the damaged item(s) for our records. Please understand that artisanal cheese molds, as we only carry natural cheeses. Simply scrape away any unwanted mold and the cheese below is still good to eat.

Selecting your Products
If you are unfamiliar with buying artisan cheese, please be aware that some of the products we send you will have a variety of molds growing on the rind. We find that these molds add character to the cheese in terms of looks, texture and taste. If you happen to be put off by the rind, simply don’t eat it and enjoy the heart of the cheese.

Weighed Items
If you’ve ordered a weighed item from us such as cheese or meat, please note that we hand-cut to your order and as a result there will often be some variation in weight – some pieces might be a bit under the weight you ordered and others might be a bit over – it tends to work out on balance.
