The Raclette cheese is made with thermalized milk, only slightly heated to preserve flavor and nutrition. The round cheese from Savoy, has a thin, brownish-orange colored rind, and a yellow-ivory creamy texture. It has a strong and very aromatic taste with a milky, fruity aroma and a sweet taste. The full wheel is about 13 lb.
This French Raclette cheese is creamier and also stronger as the Swiss Emmi Raclette.
